Everyone always just takes pictures of the floats at the somerset Carnivals so I thought I'd do this.

went on a trip around Bath to get some images for a talk on Architecture, Low Light & Long Exposure photography.
This is what happened when Hannah fell off her bike on the way home from school yesterday. Because of this Helmet she's still alive. All she has is a badly bruised arm. If your stupid enough to ride a bike without one of these take a good long look at this. The split continues all the way up under the hard plastic shell and right around to the other edge. Basically it's split in two! That would of been my daughters head if she hadn't been wearing one of these.

We spent a while trying to figure out what the sign above the door said. It looks like F or B OUS H or K or R then an & and the last word we could only make out the letters PE. I've tried lots of different editing to make it stand out but thats the best I could get. Maybe one of you will know more.

So there was a street party today. I was quite comfortably crashed out on my sofa when the wife comes back in with this lady from Bristol Council. Apparently her camera had broken and SWMBO had said that I could take photo's for her if she wanted. This is one of the resultant shots. Of course it started to rain a lot yet again.
